A Clockwork Grump

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

I haven’t been liking many of the movies being released lately, so I’m looking back. I’ve made a new discovery…Stanley Kubrick. Maybe you’ve heard of him? ;)

“A Clockwork Orange” and “Full Metal Jacket” are now amongst my favorite movies.

Watchmen: Grump Style

I took this piece on, not knowing what I was getting into. It’s ink wash and watercolor on an 11 x 17  board. It was a good learning experience and a lot of fun.

Hope you like it Simon!

Amadeus Grump

Monday, July 12th, 2010

I tore through full seasons of  TV shows while working. Eventually I ended up watching movies I remembered liking. I liked Amadeus even more this time around.

So did Grump.

Has it been this long?!

First of all, shame on me.

Second of all, as I dust this blog off, I will also be twittering under the username Midimew. It would warm my heart if you followed.

Thirdly, I’ll have something tasty to post in the coming weeks. Wish me luck!

Last but not least, San Diego Comic Con is closing in like a freight train. I hope to see some familiar faces. Looking forward to catching up with old friends. I’ll be at the Aspen Comics booth, as well as hanging out in Artist Alley with Wildstorm artist Joel Gomez.

Apologies for the lengthy absence. Grump, Periwinkle, Manny and Dr. Serious are very much looking forward to showing their faces again!!
